Rather, this is decided on the basis of economic aspects against the background of the respective individual construction project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our \u201cTechnical floors\u201d are to be understood in this context. They offer a further alternative for identifying the most economical foundation solution in each case.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-fe9cc265 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:clamp(1.403rem, 1.403rem + ((1vw - 0.2rem) * 1.121), 2.3rem);text-decoration:underline\">Definition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Technical soil is excavated soil that is modified by technical processes in such a way that it fulfills its function as an optimal construction material and can be reused within the construction site.<br\/>Additives (e.g. stabilizers, plasticizers) can be added to the soil for the technical modification of the soil for backfilling as an optimal construction material, provided that these are proven to be environmentally safe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-fe9cc265 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:clamp(1.403rem, 1.403rem + ((1vw - 0.2rem) * 1.121), 2.3rem);text-decoration:underline\">Fundamentals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It can be deduced from DIN 18300 that the surveyor must describe what he considers to be the most economical foundation solutions for the earthworks of the respective construction project. In addition to the exact description of the foundation solution, the delivery materials to be used must also be specified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The \u201cconstruction site\u201d is understood as a system<\/strong> in which it is assumed that all natural and artificially introduced materials interact with each other (e.g. an introduced force always generates a counterforce). When determining the most economical solution, it is therefore not a question of comparing the cheapest products. Sustainable economic efficiency can only be determined by looking at the whole system.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CO<sub>2<\/sub>-balancing if necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The result is the chemical and mechanical parameters of the soil required to fulfill the function of the building material to be used and the type of foundation to be selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Technical soils assume that economic viability is always given if the excavated soil extracted on site can be reused as a building material within the construction site after technical adaptation if necessary. In addition to the transportation and disposal costs for the excavated soil, the procurement of building materials is also eliminated, which leads to a considerable conservation of resources.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-stretch is-style-tw-shadow has-background is-layout-flow wp-container-core-column-is-layout-057de46b wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"--col-width:40%;background-color:#0068b3b3;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--20);flex-basis:40%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-base-2-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ed3f94e4c7e2353a332159b916e28ee5\" style=\"margin-bottom:0\">Further planning stages<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:17px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The static calculations of the pre-dimensioned planning solution result in the essential characteristic values that the technical floor must achieve in order to fulfill the planned function with the necessary safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A recipe is created based on the excavated soil, the implementation of which results in a technical soil that should achieve the required characteristics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the technical floor does not meet the parameters required by the structural analysis, there are two ways to optimize it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"line-height:2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The quantity of aggregates is changed so that the technical soil meets the specifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The planned dimensioning of the foundation component is adjusted with the characteristic values achieved on the basis of the formulation to such an extent that a \u201csafe\u201d component is achieved.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-border-color has-custom-tb-gr-n-border-color has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-80fb368b wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained tw-block-animation tw-animation-fade-in\" style=\"border-width:4px;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" style=\"font-size:em;text-decoration:underline\">An overall iterative process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:1.6\">In practice, the optimization of the foundation solution is an iterative process in which the statics and the formula are adjusted alternately. As the foundation solutions are developed individually for each construction site, the quality assurance of the technical floor must also be defined individually for each construction project during the planning stage.
